Tonight we sleep at my niece’s home in Dayton ,
NV , in the meantime; we’ve got 376 miles to go. A few miles north
on US93 we turn on to the Extraterrestrial Highway, NV375, so put on your
aluminum foil hat and follow us to Rachel, the home of the Little A’Le’Inn, surrounded
by Area 51 which officially did not exist until very recently.
We met Pat, the owner and her daughter. Pat told us the
story of the Little A’Le’Inn .
She said,"Back in 1990 we decided to aspire to the surrounding area
and embrace what this town of Rachel
was really all about during this period in history. Thus the name of the Little
A'Le'Inn was born. Some believe the name is to sound
like an inn that serves ale (ale inn), while others believe it to mean alien.
We leave this up to you to decide. We like the sounds of both.
"Look up as the truth lies there. Always keep your eyes to
the skies whenever you can. You just never know when that special event will
happen. At those times there may be no answers, leaving you only to wonder what
just happened or what you saw, and having to ask more questions... getting no
answers. Life is a mystery, enjoy the ride.
"The events and unidentified flying objects we see and only
hear at times in this area often leave us shaking our heads. The unknown is
what we live for. The times when logic escapes us and the knowledge of things
to come are before us. We welcome it all."
As she was finishing the story we noticed several small men,
grayish in color and wrapped in dark cloaks, entering the room. We quickly thanked
Pat for the brief interview and worked our way to the door. As I turned to
close it I saw that Pat and her daughter had started to remove masks from their
faces, so we jumped in the car and headed for the highway.
We kept a sharp lookout for anything hovering over NV375 for
the next 60 miles
until we turned onto US6. The Nevada
landscape unfolded before us for the next 320 miles . Pulling into Diann’s
driveway completed the first stage of our adventure. Still in store for us; Exploring
Carson City, a Tour of Lake Tahoe, a Train ride to Virginia City
and a visit to Squaw Valley .
I love it!! So far you've seen the awesome sights of nature and the wonders of this earth and now Roswell!! YES!!!
